Elizabeth’s PEEP LEAP (illustrated by John Bendall-Brunello) is about ten baby wood ducks who must leap from the nest all the way down to the pond – but baby number ten doesn’t want to leap. SMALL WALT (illustrated by Marc Rosenthal), a picture book in the tradition of The Little Engine That Could, is about a small snow plow determined to prove his worth in a blizzard. SMALL WALT AND MO THE TOW, also illustrated by Marc Rosenthal, is a story of the little snow plow and a tow truck who become friends while they heroically rescue a car on an icy night. SMALL WALT SPOTS DOT, again illustrated by Marc Rosenthal, has our smallest snowplow in the fleet rescuing a puppy in a snowstorm. BIKE AND TRIKE, illustrated by Brian Biggs, is a story of friendship and the pangs of growing up, with rusty old trike worried about the arrival of shiny new bike in the family garage.
